THE Premier League fixtures are released on Thursday as all 20 clubs find out who they will face on the opening day of the 2022/23 season.
The first day of the campaign is set for Saturday, August 6 - just over seven weeks away
And SunSport have done a simulation for the opening weekend's fixtures, with some mouthwatering games thrown up.
The eye-catching clash is undoubtedly Manchester United's trip to Tottenham as Erik ten Hag's spell as Red Devils boss gets underway against a much-improved Spurs side, who have already secured several new players in the summer window.
Man Utd and Tottenham are both set to fight it out for the top four once more, so a game of this magnitude could give an early indication as to who is in better nick.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have received a favourable simulation as they have been pitted against newly-promoted Fulham.
It would be a repeat of the first day of the 2020/21 season when the Gunners comfortably beat their fellow London opponents 3-0 at Craven Cottage.
Elsewhere, defending champions Manchester City would host another promoted side in Bournemouth.
Pep Guardiola's side's first match is likely to be the first time we see Erling Haaland in a Man City shirt.
Play-off winners Nottingham Forest would host Newcastle in their first top flight game since 1999.
Last season's runners-up Liverpool have been pitted against Leeds - who narrowly avoided the drop on the final day of the 2021/22 campaign.
And Everton boss Frank Lampard would face former club Chelsea in the Toffees' first game back at Goodison Park since they fought back to beat Crystal Palace 3-2 and secure their Premier League safety.
Other matches made using the simulation include West Ham travelling to Southampton, Aston Villa hosting Brighton, Brentford playing at home to Leicester and Crystal Palace heading to Wolves.
