The Glazer family, who want to start a new era under the former Ajax coach, are investing around 120 million in transfer money in Ten Hag. United are expected to lose a large number of players on free transfers at the end of the month and are currently struggling to attract high-profile players. Ten Hag is said to be interested in Inter Milan defender Dumfries. Ten Hag is looking to bolster his options at right-back after being unconvinced by Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The 22-year-old forward was in high demand but chose Liverpool over a move to Old Trafford, despite Ten Hag personally requesting Nunez to sign. M. United's current transfer priority is Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong but they also struggle with him. Barcelona will sell De Jong but will charge a fee of 86 million (100 million) for his signature, which is significantly higher than United's valuation of 52 million (60 million) with surcharges for the 25-year-old midfielder.
