'Money is not a problem, we want this player': Man United CEO Arnold on Frenkie de Jong

"Our football director John Murtough works 6am to 10pm to get the Frenkie de Jong deal done. Our officials are in Barcelona while we talk," Manchester United CEO Richard Arnold has told the media, as per Football Joe.

"Our budget is £200m in the summer and we won't let any goal slip away from us. Money is not an obstacle when it comes to the players we want," he added.

Barcelona are said to be in advanced negotiations over the Frenkie de Jong move. The player, however, reportedly is unwilling to leave Barca.

The Catalans would like to receive €80-100m for the Dutchman.
