After playing only the first half in the disappointing 4-1 loss to Netherlands days ago, Eden Hazard got another start for Red Devils of Belgium against Poland.
This time, he lasted more than 45 minutes and played 65 minutes of the UEFA Nations League match as he gradually works he way back to fitness.
Looking to bounce back and get a positive result, Roberto Martinez named a strong starting XI again and they started the game really well.
Less than 10 minutes into the match, Eden Hazard produced a ridiculous assist for Michy Batshuayi to put the ball into the back of the Poland net only for the linesman to raise his flag, correctly judging the striker to have been in an offside position.
Two minutes away from the hour mark, Robert Lewandowski put Poland in front to put Belgium on course for another defeat in the Nations League.
But Axel Witsel restored parity when he scored few minutes to the end of the first half.
The second half was very much a different story to the first half. Eden Hazard and his team had a lot of joy and really did hurt the Poles.
The Real Madrid star provided an assist to give Belgium the lead five minutes before he was eventually substituted.
In the 65 minutes he spent on the field, Hazard had the following statistics: 3 shots,1 chance created, 1 assist, 1/2 successful dribbles and was fouled 3 times.
Belgium went on to score four more goals after Trossard replaced him as they totally outclassed Poland, beating them 6-1.
One of the main talking points of the match was the performance of Eden Hazard. Much more effective than he was in the last match, it is very clear that the Chelsea legend is slowly getting back to his best.
