Don't Ever Sign Him, He Is Not World-class player – Pundit warns Chelsea against signing England star

Former Crystal Palace chairman, Simon Jordan, has warned that Chelsea’s target, Raheem Sterling, is not a world-class player amid a link to the Blues.

Sterling could reportedly depart Manchester City this summer and Chelsea are among the teams linked with him, as seen in the Chelsea Chronicle.

However, Jordan gave his opinion that the England international’s potential departure would not affect Pep Guardiola’s side next season.

“I don’t think he’s a world-class player. I think he’s a very good player, otherwise, he wouldn’t play for his country,” Jordan told talkSPORT.

I think he’s a good player. I don’t think he’s anywhere near as good as people somehow advance him to be.

“He’s a good player, but I don’t think him leaving would derail Man City.”

Sterling joined Manchester City from Liverpool in 2015 in a deal worth £57.3 million.
