Bad News For Chelsea Fans As Important Personality Dies Young

 



CHELSEA revealed some unfortunate news on the morning of June 8 stating that their Academy kitman, Eric Asiedu has sadly passed away.

Eric had an "infectious smile" around the Cobham training ground and he would always encourage "positivity" amongst his peers.

His legacy around the Blues camp will live on and tributes have been led by Callum Hudson-Odoi, Reece James and legendary defender, John Terry.

Who is Eric Asiedu?

Eric Asiedu, affectionately known as 'boss' by staff members and players of Chelsea, was a kitman and a caring mentor.

The Ghanaian man is well known for his positive influence around the ground and on the touchline for the Blues youngsters.

He joined the West London outfit in April 2013 where his humbleness and warm characteristics enabled him to develop strong relationships with those in the Under-18 age group.


Asiedu has been part of the core of many youth success at Chelsea as well as being a confidant in the dressing room to players who were taking their first steps into full-time football.
